SUAH African Dance Exchange offers a range of programs all with the purpose of educating the community about West African culture and values.
SUAH African Dance Theatre
SUAH African Dance Theatre is the performance group that travels all around North Carolina. The group consists of SUAH’s most senior and experienced dancers. They sing, drum, and dance traditional styling that come straight from the West Coast of Africa.
SUAH School of Music and Dance is SUAH’s education branch. Here, we hold a schedule of West African dance classes throughout the week that serve different age groups and experience levels.

SUAH Youth Programming
Through SUAH Youth Programming, the community’s youth is given a safe space to learn and thrive. SUAH offers afterschool care and programming as well as summer camps and workshops.
